Hi, my name is Marianne and I live in Mass. I am the mother of 5 children. 4 years ago I was a size 0 now today I am a size 12. I am so happy to have found this forum, I have been very down about my weight and really need to do something about it and get some support.

Hi Marianne! Welcome I am pretty new too. Good luck on SB. I lost 28 lbs when I was on it. Then I stopped smoking and went on anti depressants... gained 40. Here I am starting again.

South Beach is good. My husband and I both lost weight on it several years ago, and he still swears by it.
