Lauren - sorry that you had a bad start to the day. Hope it gets better.

I had a bummer of a night last night. Was dying to go do something...we didn't get too far without coming back home - to make a long story short. I am hoping that today will be better. It is supposed to below zero again for a couple of days.

I am hoping to get a workout in this morning and then do something later today outside of the house.

morning all...off to work soon. Getting very frustrated with work. Lots of people have quite lately. I know its a good thing...but it makes it harder to get work done. I have the head petnurse leaving in 2 wks (probably a good thing...she really wasn't that good). And hopefully when she leaves, the other petnurse that's the headspn buddy will leave (since she won't get away with crap without her there). So we'll be sooooo short staffed. But i keep telling myself that even though it will be rough at first...it will be for the better. I do think the people currently leaving are a people we've had trouble with.
So right now i'm just making day work one day at a time LOL.
Luckily i have tomorrow and monday off

Dawn - We've been lucky with mild weather this week. It's hard to get motivated when it's that cold outside. Lucky for us, spring is right around the corner!

Gator - I know it's hard when you are short handed but hopefully this will give you'll the chance to hire new people that are more qualified or better suited for the job. Then easier days to come!

We have been going to the park almost every night this week. It is about 1.25 miles to walk the entire thing. We are only walking it once for now and last night we did some jogging in between our walking. DS has been going with me and is excited. I told him to make me go and not let me get out of it and that has worked so far. He really looks forward to it (he is 10) DH has gone with us twice which was nice. I definitely feel it. However, the scale isn't budging lately. I did pick up a size smaller jeans yesterday for motivation. Turns out, if I lay on the couch I can actually zip and button them lol. I figure I'll try them on once each week until they fit perfectly and then I'm buying the next size down. Jeans really motivate me

Hi Everyone,

I've been MIA all week and my whole plan has just been shot to you-know-where and back. My back is still giving me fits, so Lauren all I got this week is 5 stinking miles, 5,5,5,5,5! That Sucks! My washing machine has been completely kaput, I had to lug everyones laundry in to the laundry mat, with 7 people in the house that is no fun. I made two trips and still didn't get everything washed and that's not trying to catch up thats just trying to stay on track. So between the laundry the back thing and having two kids with Strep in the house its been a BAD week.

Hope everyone else is doing well, I'll try to check back later and do some reading to catch up what everyones got going, but I gotta run DD had a b-ball game this morning and they won so I came home to eat and now they're getting ready to play again. Be Happy!!! Whatever.

Me, well I am doing OK, I am going to the Wild Animal Park w/Sean today, We have not been there in a long time, and today the weather will be perfect in the 70's, it is usually a lot higher than that, and it makes it impossible to enjoy. He is pretty board, I am looking forward to it, I love the chimps exhibit! and there is lots of walking to do, so I will get some exercise will I enjoy the day!

Hi everyone!! I am sooooooooo tired!!! Had to go my WW meeting this morning to WI and was down another 1.6. Not too bad...Then we had the first day of baseball practice, lunch, and just a good old family day. I read all your posts and would love to respond, but my carpal tunnel is giving me fits right now. Wow, slow day today on the board.

Lauren, I haven't had any miles this week. We are getting ready for a big visit, so I haven't had any extra energy after work.

I am moderating a Lenten Sunday School class at church for the next several weeks, so I need to go prepare.

work today was very good. Everyone was motivated. We had a smooth morning. I even got a lunch break. Then the afternoon was busy but good. However, i had to talk to the head boss of petsmart. They hired a new manager...and he's the biggest goob on the face of the earth. He came into our clinic multiple times just to ask stupid question (not relevant to the animals). I think he thinks he's cool..but he's really just a tool. He always came in at the busiest moments and i finally told him to bug off. But really work was great. Everyone actually worked today.

Dh and i went out for pint of beer tonight. I had a Bar Harbor blueberry ale...and it was yummie. Its was good.

hannah- I love the wild animal park..i went there last year...its a great place..lots of room for the animals. I did the rhino jeep excursion and got to go in the large enclosure with the giraffes and rhinos and got to feed rhinos. I'll have to hunt down my pics and post them when i was there.

It's dreary here again today. We actually did not even leave the house at all yesterday! Not even to get the mail! I sooo need a shower!

I've got everyone's miles soo far. I'll post the totals sometime before I leave the house later this AM. I'll be gone for most of the day. Going to mom's to clean out the attic a bit, and then a birthday party later for my SIL.

Good morning!

I need to be short as we have someone from the church visiting between 1 and 4 today - they are having each family get a visit just to see how they are doing. So, I need to pick up the house a bit before leave for church service - and try to get a small workout in.

We went to the RV show at the convention center yesterday. We walked around a lot, but then we also had popcorn and got an ice cream treat after dinner. Oh well, will try to be better today. We will have a high of 2 below!!
