  • Everyone did so well with the Valentine's Day goal. Some people have already hit their goal, and others are close. To keep each other motivated and on track it's time to set a goal for Easter (March 23). I know some people have already talked about a goal in the V-day thread but I thought it would make sense to start a new thread.

    My goal is going to be 10 lbs from my weight on Valentine's Day. I will be on vacation for a week at the end of February otherwise I would aim for more. Just hope to maintain on vacation. I'm going to change my ticker to an Easter goal one after Valentine's Day.

  • Great idea switzie - I think my goal will be 10# as well. March 23rd is a little less than 6 weeks away so I think ~ 1.5# per week is totally doable. Hopefully the ticker option will show up soon in my profile so I can have one like everyone else!

    I weighed in at 499lbs on Tuesday, I had made a goal for myself to get to 479 by Easter because thats the weight I was 5 years ago (the last time I weighed myself until recently) so thats 20lbs by Easter. I weigh in tomorrow morning so hopefully it goes down.

    so 20lbs by Easter for me. I am in!

    I'm in, too. Like last time I"m counting my cals. every day. My range is 1200-1400 cals M-F, up to 1600 on weekends. And to exercise every day. (I'll be happy with whatever lbs. I lose.)

    Twirly, don't be afraid. Just decide what you want to do and go for it.

    Is 15-20 pounds too much to hope for in everyone's opinion? I'm thinking it could happen...

    To explain- I'm still at the beginning of this weight loss and the scale is moving down fast (as it always does for me at the start). I'm doing it healthily and my body is responding better than I could hope for right now.
  • I'm in! I'll go for a 10 pound loss starting next wednesday (my weigh in day).
  • OK, I'm in. Like I said on the V-day board, my Easter goal is to be at 180... that's 15 pounds from my V-day goal and 16 pounds from right now. I've never lost any significant amount of weight before so I don't know if that's actually doable for me but I'll work my butt off and just maybe...

  • I'd like to jump in here too...seems like setting these mini goals for me really keeps my eating and exercise in line. If I make Valentine goal (only 3 pounds to go) I'll make my Easter goal 175. So 10 pounds after v-day. Seems do able if I keep up the exercise, just wish me luck...both of my daughters birthdays are in this time, that will be an extra challenge..2 birthday parties means 2 birthday cakes!
  • Im new here and to a new change in my life with Healthy eating! my weigh in day is Monday so I will say 12 lbs from Monday's weigh in....that would be approximately 2lbs a week.

    That would also bring me under 300lbs as well!!! I can't wait to get a ticker so I can keep colorful track of my weight losses & goals!
  • I'm in. I am 1 pound away from my V-day goal of 240. Since I am a slow loser I am going to say 6 pounds in 6 weeks so my Easter goal is 234. I haven't weighed that since I found out I was pregnant in March 2004!
  • Welcome back to everyone who did the V-day goal and welcome to all the new people jumping in. Sounds like everyone is picking some good goals!
  • I hope to weight 145 lbs. by Easter. That's about eight pounds from now.
