Agreed, but I think it also comes down to the process of developing a healthier relationship with food, and that it can take a while to do so.
I'm finding that writing down everything I eat (sort of a different topic, but related to mindfulness I suppose) helps me to analyze things more clearly and then, later on, I find myself making better choices in general, automatically, and not feeling bad about things I shouldn't feel bad about.
