Tremendous Tuesday!

  • Good Morning!!

    Everybody have a good day yesterday? I skipped my cardio as the bod was crying for a rest, so I gave in and finished my new Mauve Binchy novel instead.

    Weigh in for me today, and did I screw up this morning, I normally weigh myself first thing on weigh in day and I forgot this morning. Now I have had breakie and a ton of coffee so I have no idea if I gained or lost. Drats! I hope I lost, I must have lost.

    Sherri, relax you lost! (I am a fine one to talk) And if you didn’t you are gearing up for one HUGE loss. It will be colossal, the mother of all losses! LOL, how much more to go ‘till the tubing happens?

    Coco, You are doing awesome! Stick with the exercise, it will take awhile to see and feel any noticable results but it is sure nice to feel fit again. Plus it is very cool to feel muscle under your skin instead of being all soft and jiggely. I am in the home stretch of a 103 lb journey and I am very glad I did what I could from day one. Now I have a define shape emerging, my posture is better and my energy level is high. A real bonus is that when you get around to purchasing new clothes they will actually look great and hang on you properly. Since July I have gone from having a hard time making it up the stairs and only lasting 10-15 min on the treadmill at 2.8 mph to being able to keep up with my kickboxing class and can easily pull off 45 min on the treadmill at an average pace of 5.5 mph. I would like to be able to 30 min at 7.5 mph but that is still a ways off. I encourage you to set little goals and work to acheive them, to me this is more important than the number on the scale because it is a true reflection of your most important asset, your heath.

    We are just waiting for some nice weather to start. You guys have had more than your fair share of crappy weather this year eh?

    Well, I am going to do the prep work this morning for all our meals while Carol is here. (So the mundane things will not interfere with our gabbing!) I need to finish my laundry and I have two more windows to wash, then unless I can find something else to do, I will sit on pins and needles waiting for her to pull in the drive.

  • Good afternoon ladies, all is well here. (well almost) I lost a 1/2 pound last night. I've been keeping myself really busy. Not stopping and watching a lot of tv. I started a quilt, making my bed, doing laundry, and staying on plan. I also managed to do the treadmill again today, for 30 minutes. I've cut down my sugar a lot. so far ok, just after lunch seems to be a potential probblem. Losing the 1/2 pound surprised in a couple of ways. #1- my scale say more. I'm still a slave to the thing. #2. I should be retaining right now. So I guess all in all I'm pleased with what I've been doing.
    I hope everyone is doing ok, and continues. remember BOB the Builder. "CAN WE DO IT, YES WE CAN" Well everyone take care back later

    You are doing so great at your exercising and losing weight.
    Wendy You are also doing good. I also am a slave to the scales. A lot of us are.
    I still don't know if I will have a loss this week. It seems like the scale never wants to move until Thursday morning. But I do know it does not seem to be going up.
    I did two 7 minute walks at work and then 20 mins with Richard. I take segments from 4 different tapes to make one workout. It is better than doing nothing. I can't do everything that is on the tapes so I pick out some I can do.
    Well I have to go. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow

    Hi Everybody
    Hope everyone had a good day today. Tonight was my weigh in night. I LOST 2 lbs. Hubby lost 1 1/2 lbs. Was so excited. Couldn't believe I lost this week. Another thing I am feeling good about. Is today at the grocery store I bought one of those Cadbury chocolate filled eggs. I thought Iwould have that for a splurge after weigh in. Was looking forward to it. Came home opened up the egg. Took a bite. And thought "This doesn't taste as good as I thought it would. Was going to throw in the garbage. Ask son if he wanted said no. But hubby ate it. But I did splurge. I ate a few chips with cheese dip. That tasted better than the chocolate. But now I found out what I have been craving the last couple of days and didn't know what it was. The chips and cheese. I am satisfied. I know the chips and cheese are a no-no. The rest of the week I don't eat anything after 6:00 pm. Tues night is the only night. I wont eat supper before weigh in. So I will be back on plan tomorrow. Everyone keep up the good work.

    I am so proud of you girl for the loss you had this week. You worked really hard at it and you deserve it. You have made a lot of changes this week for the better. The chips are a no no but the cheese is legal on SB plan. I had the cheese sauce on cauliflower today at the buffet along with a salad some chicken pcs and a pc of meatloaf. Keep going girl and next week you will have another great loss.

    I am sure you will have a loss this week. You have done more exercise this week and you have been eating great. Keep up the great work. I like that idea of making a tape from 4 of them. Great thinking.

    I am also very proud of you to. I know you have been struggling and I know you have made a lot of changes also this week. See it paid off. Seems like keeping busy is your best thing to stop you from eating. That is great that you are getting in exercise also. Keep up the great work and CONGRATULATIONS girl you really deserve it. Keep up the great work. Any refined sugars that you give up will help even if you can't give them all up.

    I hope you enjoy your visit with your friend. I hope I have a loss. You have a lot of confidence in me. I want to lose so that I can make my valentines day goal which is next week. I don't know if I will make it or not. I hope so . I have only 5 more lbs to go in order to go tubing. I know I am fitting into a pair of jeans that I couldn't use before so I know I have lost inches. Plus I measured myself and saw that I lost an inch in my waist and my thigh so I have to have a loss this week. I am afraid of getting very disappointed and blowing it if I don't have a loss. I don't want that to happen and ruin what I have been doing. You know?
