A little about me, I am in my early 30's and have never been what you could call Frail or small always been one of if not the biggest fellas in the room, but never cared or let weight get in my way, and then it happened. I got a back injury and blew up like a balloon and now I have had enough. I am 6'4'' tall and .......lbs (lets just say tis a lot) and have decided to try out a low calorie diet along with moderate exercise and see where it takes me. I have a lovely wife and 2 kids, and just started a blog to sort of record my progress etc, and thats me in a nutshell.
I did notice that the site is called "3 fat chicks on a diet" and didn't notice many men on the forum but decided to register anyways, hope you fine ladies don't mind

in the past when I would "cut back" or "diet" it was just a thought, as if to say "oh well yeah I should do this" the difference in those times and this is that this time it is a decision. so I will likely hang around here for support and info.
which I unfortunately now know all too much about how it affects working out, especially with weights.
