So I am 6 months from my 30th birthday and pregnant. This pregnany was unplanned and unexpected and to be honest, I never intended to have kids at all. Isn't it funny how life changes plans for you?
Anyway...so I am seriously freaked out here. Not so much about being a mom. I have had a LOT of exposure to kids and am really good with them but I know almost nothing about pregnancy.
My biggest concern right now is my weight. I weigh 360. I don't know how this will affect the baby. Can I lose weight? I think that by giving up sodas and eating healthier I am going to lose weight whether I want to or not.
Will my weight hurt the baby? Will I be able to carry it to term? What are some risks that I am facing? Is there anything I can do to mitigate those risks?
I am a week away from my first prenatal exam and I have no one to ask questions to until then!

I would LOVE to be able to be less than 260 once I give birth just by being careful as not to gain any weight during the pregnancy. So far I havent gained any weight but I hear that the third trimester is when it all piles on!
