Hi (again)

  • I started WW in 2006 and lost 30 pounds. I did it from home and used the 3FC forums for support. After 30 pounds was lost, I decided I owed myself a "day off." Big mistake. That one day turned into another day, which turned into a week, which turned into months. I gained back about 15 pounds.

Over the past year I've done WW, but haven't been able to stick to it for more than a week or two. I lost weight every time, but just couldn't keep going with it.

Well, my New Year's resolution is, of course, to finally finish losing the weight. This time, I have my sister doing it with me, but she is following South Beach. We're both the same height and weight, so I think we'll have a friendly competition going on here!

So I just wanted to (re)introduce myself since it's been so long since I was here - I even had to make a new screen name since I couldn't remember the old one!

I look forward to getting to know all of you and supporting you all in your weight loss journey, as you'll do the same for me! I'll also be tracking my progress in my blog (see my signature). If anyone else keeps a weight loss blog, send me the link because I'd love to read it!
  • Welcome back. I think WW works IF you have a support system. It is so easy to let yourself get off track, but much harder if you have friends to report to. My blog is here at 3fc, the left side of the screen has my link to it.
  • Hi and welcome back ff2ff~ Good luck this time and you can do it! This is a really great support here at 3FC!
  • welcome back...your story sounds like mine, although I took a little longer to gain again.

But, it's a journey worth taking, and this is a good year to lose!

    Rhonda
