    Cr*ppy day here. Gotta go to the gym and then start moving DP's office.... Oy, its hard to watch someone you love look so sad.

  • Thanks Laurel. I think she has decided that she is now a drone instead of a manager. So, she has packed up anything vaguely personal and professional that is not part of her new job and moved them home. . Her office (shared, now) is going to be a bit drab.

    On the other hand, I persuaded her to go out last night and meet some of our friends at a local bookstore/restaurant for dinner. If we had stayed home, she would have been in bed at 7:30 and up at 10, 12, 2, 4 ect.

    Sigh. Change is hard and if I had any idea that this new position was going to be so beneath her (with the same pay as before), I would have said no way.

    poor potato. I feel for the poor girl. we spend so much time at work; it should be at least not unhappy...at least the DP doesn't have to worry about wretched POINTS all the time!
  • lala - I'm so sorry to hear about your DP's frustration with her new job. I do hope it ultimately pans out and if not , that she moves on... life is too short.

    I did a boat load of activity today and probably ate too many points to assuage my "hunger".
