New and Hongry..

  • Hahahahh!

    Hi everyone!

I just registered here, and I'm hoping this community can help me keep my momentum up.

Weight has been a consistent struggle in my life and in the past bulemia was the only way I knew to manage it. Obviously that was not the best plan and when my family got concerned I stopped. Then began eating far too much of the wrong things and in two years balooned to over 225..

Slowly I came to the realization that this was yet another unhealthy eating pattern. I started paying attention to the foods I ate and slowly introduced physical activity.. People began noticing I was losing weight and I liked how I felt. This all inspired me to focus on a goal and achieve it.

Seeing 225 on the scale was more than shocking.. It was mortifying. The most I had ever weighed in the past was 200. About 3 months later I am down 37 pounds but I have at least another 33 to go.

The plan I've created: eat about 1200 cals, walk 5 miles (90 mins) and do 20 minutes of ab focused pilates every day. I read that cycling calories assists weight loss, once a week I increase my caloric intake by 300. Overall I feel like a new person. I'm committed to doing this in a healthy fashion.

Any tips you guys have on what I can to to tweak my routine would be helpful.

    Thanks guys!

    Best of luck!
  • Welcome and good luck,,,you are more than half way there!!!!
  • You definitely have a good plan in place and the motivation to do it. It's definitely not a matter of if you'll reach your goal, but when. Keep up the good work!
