My name is Veronica and I stumpbled upon this website by doing a search for an LA Weightloss recipe. A little bit about myself:
I am 24 years old, married w/out children. I am 5'2" and weighed in last week at the heaviest I have ever been, 180 lbs. I think I choked when I looked down at the scale and saw that number staring back at me. I have been with my now husband for 9 years this December and while I was only 15.5 when we met, I was a size 3 and weighed 108 lbs. Over the years, happiness and contentment have lead us down the path that we're on and I so desperately need to get back on track.
I've come to the point where I refuse to buy the next size up and I don't want to feel like my youth is passing me by. We also would like to try to get pregnant next year and I can't do it at this weight.
My biggest problems are 1) My husband has a major case of sweet tooth that I constantly have to battle 2) Being Mexican & Italian, I struggle with carb obsession and it's ever presence in my everyday life 3) I hate cooking and doing all the shopping and prep work that accompanies being on a weight loss diet
I really need help and support and I think I might benefit from having a little bit of accountability through this board. I hope that I can meet new friends and share in this experience with all you ladies and this wonderful message board. I look forward to the journey ahead and beg for help along the way.

You may also want to have one preparation day. Every Sunday prepare most of your dinners ahead of time. Then on Tuesday when you don't want to cook you just have to pop the whatever in the microwave or oven instead of preparing it that night! Easy
