Wonderful Wednesday!!!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YOU FABO LOSERS !!!!

    We are doing awesome!!

    Kickboxing day for me, I can hardly wait.

    Well, I drank a whole lotta water before I weighed in and I was still down -6.5 lbs. Our little cutiepie weight recorder is sure I am starving myself. I feel really bad that she is worried about me.

    I am continuing with the SB using the formula on yesterdays post and I was down 1.5 lbs this morning.
    Christie, this plan is very hard but the results are amazing, Thank You!

    My target has always to be at goal weight for my birthday (Fab Forty- I wanted it to be absolutely FLAB U LESS) and I was having a really hard time wrapping my pea brain around the concept that I wasn't going to make it, but if I work really really hard, I just may.

    I also want to thank each and every one of you for the support, encouragement and guidance you have given me.

    I don't have much time as I have at least a billion things on my list'o'things to do, so

  • Morning all.....

    My weigh in was cancelled yesterday because of snow. The snow wasn't too bad but many of the ladies in my group are quite senior and they wouldn't drive in it. I don't know whether I am up or down but I don't feel like I'm down too much.

    CC why is the SB diet hard?? I couldn't make any sense of the formula that was posted so I am still not on it. I understand what Sherri said about eating whole wheat pasta and bread instead of the other but so far that is all I know.

    I do all my eating before 7:00..I don't snack at night at all unless we are out at a party or something.

    Last night I had homemade cr. of mushroom soup but I also had two pieces of garlic bread - homemade on sour dough bread.

    Congrats to all of you ladies that are really working on it...and to the rest of us - let's get on the bandwagon. It will be summer before we know it and won't we be sorry that we weren't sticking to our programme now. Have a great OP day.......

    CC, THANKS for starting us off with your very positive note. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!! You are doing GREAT!!! What do you figure will be your total loss to goal since you've been in TOPS??? YOU GO GIRL.......WOOO-HOOOOO!!!!

    I have had to take a break from some things in my life and going to my TOPS meeting is one of them. Am planning on staying away until the first of March. Since I told the leader and fellow weight recorder yesterday, I can already feel a weight lifted off of me. I'm going to miss the scale, but I'm not going to miss some of the garbage going on. Was on the phone 25 min with leader yesterday and when I needed to do something here, she said that she needed to talk to me about the chapter 'blindsiding' her with unexpected stuff. The co-leader took control, made a motion, a new member [who doesn't know anything about the issue] seconded it and the rest who are old and passive raised their hands. SOOOO, I was on the phone another 1/2 hr [time I Did Not have to time to give] trying to tell the leader that she needs to be able to stop things, discuss thoroughly the issue, pros and cons,and table for a week or so until it is clear......this involved transferring monies around and it will not be to the benefit of the chapter. One member got selfish since she's not going to SRD and doesn't want others to have any of 'her' money. This person and her daughter have gone for the last 10 years that I know of. I am just flabbergasted.....and amazed at the lack of 'support' from these folks. AAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

    Enough of that! On a more positive note, I luckily was able to squeeze in 15 minutes for the bike last eve and I want to do more today. The eating was much better yesterday also. Did not have anything sweet, sugar wise but did have a high carb meal of tomato soup and crackers last night. I love homemade apple sauce, chunky with the peel. The house smells wonderful with the apples and cinnamon right now. I add sweet'n low as I dish it up. Sometimes I'm in sweeter moods than other. lol! Had a salad of leaf lettuce with chicken breast and parmasean-ranch drsg. Yum!!!!

    Sherri, It sounds like you are doing well. The older couple is very lucky to have you to help them. You are a loving, caring person and they are blessed. In fact, I would love to have you help me out. DD would love you! Don't think I could afford your travel time though, LOLOLOLOL! I honestly could not go to the buffet like you do.....I would not be able to make wise choices week after week. I am so glad we don't have many restaurants around.

    I can't believe the loss you had. I have been doing the SB all week long also. I hope I have a great loss this week also. I know I fit into my size 16 jeans yesterday and I had breathing room. I haven't been able to get them on for at least a month. So I must be losing. I am glad you took the loss you deserve. Keep going and you will be at goal in no time doing the SB plan.

    Hey girl. I am glad for you that you are giving up the tops for awhile. Not that that is a good thing. But if it helps you and takes some pressure off you then it is worth it. You have so many stressfull situations everyday that you can't control and get rid of. So if this helps then go for it. Use it as your time but remember don't let the weight slide back on. Just because you are not weighing in doesn't mean you don't have to be careful. That is great you are on the bike again. Way to go girl. I am here for you. Sounds like you have a mess at your chapter. I hope it all gets straightened out. You are right about the travel time.LOL I would love to help you out. I am seriously thinking of quiting the other job. I just really don't have the time for it now. With everything else going on. Plus I am making a lot more money with this new job with the older people. But I want to make sure I am going to be there for awhile. I would hate to quit the one job and then be done with the other and have no job. It is a hard call. I like the other job but with the pressure from my husband to quit and the way my daughter has been acting. I spend only wednesday mornings with her for our time. She is lacking and I can't let that happen. She is really being bad lately screaming for my attention. So I am confused about what to do.

    I did go to the buffet and I had a salad and a pc of meatloaf and 4 little pcs of bourbon chicken. It is diced pcs of chicken small. They were both legal with the SB plan so I had it. I didn't put any croutons in my salad today either so I would make sure to stay on plan.

    I picked up a SB shopping guide for the grocery store today. It is great. It tells you what you can have and what you can't have. I got it at the book store. I couldn't afford the SB book so I got this for $3.99. It will be a great help to me. It is pocket sized so I can take it to the store with me.

    CC I can understand why the weight recorder was worried about you. Your losses are very rare. I wish we all had your dedication.
    You are just doing great. you will be a KOP before you know it.
    Donna --Don't give up girlfriend- I know how you feel. Thats why I always try to keep the starting over thread close at hand.
    Sherri, You are going to be so skinny when I see you this summer I won't know you. You do what you think is best about your work.
    Christie- My little girl you will be back at KOPS status soon.
    Summer- You did the right thing. I still wish you had backed off as captain. IRD will be whether you are there helping or not. But you get some rest. You need it both physically and mentally.

    Mine has been fair. I had to go get the boob squashed and a bone density test. They could not get my hips because I am too fat but they got a good spine picture. I guess that is better than nothing.
    Has everyone had a yearly done. Pap and Breast. If you haven't please do. It does save lives. I am always amazed at how many ladies don't do it. Many women die because they did not have these simple test done

    Hope everyone had a good over the hump day. I went shopping today. Got material to do our first quilting project. Just going to try and make a little wall hanging for Easter. So I didn't walk on the treadmill today. But I parked farther down in the parking lot. Will get on the treadmill in AM.

    Well I think I really blew it today We went to Subway and I got the Veggie sub. But got the footlong one. Then there is a chinese place beside subway. So I went there and got a side of lomein to bring home for supper. Does any one know how many points lomein has. It didn't have any meat. Just the noodles, cabbage, and carrots.

    The pork lomein for 1 serving size is 8 pts. You can reduce that because there was no meat in it.

    Also the veggie sub you had today was 8 pts. if you didn't know.

    It is so great hearing from you. I was getting worried about you. I am going to quit the telephone job. I found out tonight that after I get done with this couple that I can put my name on a list at a few different places. A woman down the street is going to put me on her list. She is retiring in a couple of months but she said she is sure that people will ask her. She said she would refer me. So I don't have anything to worry about now except how to quit the other job. I am not good at those things. But for $16.00 an hour he can't give me that. I can work a lot less hours and make a lot more money. So I would be stupid not to do it. Then I can start spending time with megan like I should and want to do. I think I will be less stressed all the time. Hopefully. By the way I have to make my appt. for my yearly. They told me a week or so ago when I was up there that I was do. So I will make an appt soon.

    Can you please tell me what SB Diet is? I just got back from my first week on TOPS and have lost 4.25 lbs this week. Could have been more, but I am happy with it and plan to do well again this week.

    Hi there and welcome. The SB is the Sugar Busters Diet. There are a few of us doing it on this board now. We just started it. I will see tonight how I did for the week. I hope I have a loss. I have done great all week with my plan.

    Congratulations on your great loss. That is a big loss. Usually when you first start a plan you lose a lot because of water weight. Then after that anywhere from 1-2 lbs which is great. Any loss is great it means you are getting closer to your goal everyweek. Keep up the great work. What plan are you following? I am doing the WW 123 plan and incorporating the SB plan.
