My Fattie Francois

  • He was 26 pounds. I just lost him on Wednesday to diabetes and renal failure. :'-(

His death is actually what has inspired me to take control of my own weight, and what got me poking around online, where I found this site.

    Miss you, Frannie!

  • Aw, what a sweetie! I'm so sorry. But the silver lining is that you're here with us and we'll give you all the help and support that we can.
  • Sorry for your loss, it is really hard to lose a beloved pet. He had such a sweet face! We had a 20 lb. cat - he wasn't pudgy - just very, very large! I still miss him after 10 years.

Meg is right, something positive about the situation is that you found 3FC. Welcome! You will love it here
  • I am sorry for you loss......may he always be a happy memory filling your heart with warmth when you think of him. Maybe he was your angel.....all along.....guiding you into a healthy direction.........let him continue to be your angel.....and be healthy and happy....take good care.
  • Thank you so much!!
I was just looking at your story. You rock!!

  • Thank you. It is hard. He was so entertaining, and such a lovah. That's why I named him Francois. ;-)

    Congrats on the 42 lbs!!
  • Oopth! Just getting the hang of this. That was supposed to be for Meg.
  • Thank you, Ohio. That is a comforting idea.
  • Awww, so sorry you lost your Frannie, so cute. Hugs to you
