I tried it and I was disappointed with the results. According to the directions you have to wait until your facial hair is almost 3/4". I work at home so I don't have to go out in public but who would feel comfortable doing that? I wouldn't! It took a week and my facial hair still wasn't that long so I went ahead anyway and applied the hot wax and it didn't work at all! I was so mad. I can't use the delipilatory creams either because for some reason my hair doesn't come off and it leaves my skin red and inflamed.
Years ago, I went to a dermatalogist and had two treatments, at $99 each, for facial hair removal. It's painful but not that painful. I ran out of money at the time and I was told I needed about 4-5 more treatments to finish the job. So, I spent the next six years shaving every day. That sucks too because you get a five o'clock shadow by the end of the day and your lower face feels rough.
My FINAL SOLUTION: was that this past spring I decided to let my chin and jawline hair grow out and then I plucked it. It took me FIVE DAYS to pluck over 300 individual stubbly hairs! The first time was painful and I used a cream that had aloe in it to sooth it afterwards. I now pluck the regrowth every day which takes me less than five minutes. It was worth it and it was a cheap way to finally get rid of all my facial hair.
