  • I hope it's okay for me to start the first thread for this new challenge. I guess this "week" is going to run from now until Sunday the 4th, then we can start the Week 2 thread. We're not going to have exactly eight weeks, but 7 weeks and 4 days It's all good! Let's do this, ladies!

    My WEEDY day:

    W- 100 oz

    E- Hitting the gym with Rob from 1:30-2:30

    E- On Plan! I'm trying for 4 mini-meals today I'm going to go back on the trying to eat every 3-4 hours again! I had my first meal today at 12, though...not good. I need to start eating breakfast again!

    D- It's a new challenge! 8 weeks, 16 pounds...you can do that! And guess what? When you do, you'll be THIS close to your ultimate goal. That's amazing! GO FOR IT! Don't be afraid, don't look back.
  • OK, as I did last challenge, I will aim for 15% of my overall goal. That is 2.25 pounds. So I will round it down to 2 pounds, based on having missed my Halloween goal by one pound. I know, it doesn't sound lofty, but it works for me!

    W - 64 oz.
    E - 60 minute walk (DONE)
    E - Fruits and veggies are first choice. Am doing well today.
    D - One foot in front of the other.

  • My goal for this challenge is to FINALLY make my first 10% (226.98). I'm moving to a whole new city and state by the end of the year but how can I make that leap when I can't even seriously buckle down on my WL efforts? Well, I can and I am! My starting weight is 245.

    W.E.E.D for Pre-Christmas Challenge:

    W ~ Standard 64 oz everyday.

    E ~ 2400 mins

    E ~ Portioned controlled. Limited sweets. Limited fast food. NO SODA....unless it comes down to diet soda versus a calorie drink!

    D ~ Results won't start till I do!
  • Ok, my Daily WEED:

    W- 2.5L (works out to 80 oz)

    E - walked 2 km at lunch today

    E- low carbed breakfast and lunch, looking to keep it up for supper

    D- my goal for tonight is to make it to my fitness class. As a daily affirmation, I want to remind myself that my blood sugar is under much more control today - my hands and feet don't hardly itch at all! It's so good to be OP, and not scratching myself until I bleed all the time!
  • i overate at lunch...we had a potluck......but i think i made up for it....i came home and cut the grass in the front and back and did some weedeating and cleaning out front. gotta make sure the kiddies can see the house LOL
  • OK, kicking butt and taking names!!

    I am going to really, really bust my butt for this. I want to hit 139 for this challenge, so I have to average just over two pounds a week.

    W-- 100 oz done today, same tomorrow

    E-- a 45 minute walk. Done today w 10 minute toning workout this am.
    Same walk tomorrow, maybe a video too.

    E-- low carb, high protein
    usually low fat low sugar yogurt
    string cheese
    big salad w grilled chicken and SB ranch
    veggies
    reasonable dinner with the family, not so good today, very good up til I got home, then a small portion of Orange Chicken & Shredded Pork w garlic sauce, passed on the Crab Rangoons though. Also had a beer and 5 Halloween Twix Candy Bars- thank goodness they were the little ones, probably about equals one big one, so over all, not TOO TOO horrible, but definitely not good

    D- don't let work get you down - a struggle every day
  • Ok, count me in I've never done a challenge before, so this is exciting.
    I understand most of it, could you just tell me are we to post every day?
    I guess I'll set my goal for 10lbs. sounds like a good start, that will put me at 158, wow.

    W- To drink at least 64oz of water a day.

    E- To start exercising at least 3-4 times a week
    (right now I do none )

    E- To stay within my WW points and make healthy choices.

    D- This one is easy. (well easy to think about )
    I have more craft supplies and fabrics than anyone could ever use in a lifetime, I keep putting off sorting through it, so goal is to spend at least 15mins. a day sorting, organizing, and giving away.
    I look forward to this, everyone.

  • Don't hold this against me newcomers - - but am Posting while inebriated. It's nchelle's FAULT! Haven't had a Frosty Malted Beverage since Opening Game of Loser Lambs Season and we were both cutting back on alkyhol . . . sooooooo . . . Welcome Everyone! & Hello Ole WEED Friends! Earlier, I checked out that I lost 9lbs on the last WEED I got in on . . . 222 down to 213 . . . know I set a lofty goal for this round (I was trying to get to 199) . . . brb . . . ok - incapable of finding my lofty goal so must set a new one . . . . going for a 24 lb loss . . . . which comes outs to exactly 3.14 = mc hammer - putting me exactly at 189# . . . yeah yeah - that's the ticket - blame the malted & yeasted hops, k?

    W: Only 44oz tonight . . . the rest was . . . well - you know . . .

    E: Took a 40 minute walk b4 the TreatFest!

    E: Totally LOST it Tuesday . . . stress eating . . . had a few Frosties and also a bit OffPlan with some Strawberries/Chocolate/Whipped Cream - but felt in control . . . .

    D: *In best Annie voice: "There's allllwwwaaaays tomorrow . . . for dreams to come truuuuuueeeeee . . . "

  • smiley most of us try to come and post our WEED everyday but because of life some of us (raising my hand) dont post for a few days at a time.

    last day for the week (HURRAY!)I am so ready for a relaxing day off. (OH Wait, I have kids; well a day off anyway. )

    D try for a workout after Makies swim lesson

    E- None today, I've got to study for my GRE on Saturday

    E- On plan, in spite of my stress spiral

    D- Breathe, just breathe.
  • Alright....November 1st!!! A new month to start off the right way. I am aiming to be at 131 by Dec. 17th!!

    My weed for today:

    W- 8 glasses
    E- 1200 clean calories
    E- try the pilates class tonight
    D- 8 weeks to a new me!!!

  • OK, didn't do so hot on my D yesterday - didn't make it to class. Oh well.

    Today:

    W - aiming for 3L - 96 oz

    E - walk 2 km after work

    E - 100% OP Atkins induction

    D - to maintain a positive attitude all day at work today.

    Hope everyone is doing well, and avoiding the nasties the kids picked up last night!
