We have a tradition, that everyone brings a "treat" on their birthday. Usually desserts are the norm. I can't see myself bringing a treat and then watching everyone else eat it. It would just be too awkward. As a calorie counter, I could probably fit it in, but I don't want to even go there. I have lost my craving for sweets and really don't want to risk a relapse.
I was thinking of a big basket of fruit, but I'm not sure how well it will go over. Then again - with Halloween treats abounding this week, maybe it will be appreciated????
So - do you have any suggestions for what I could take?
