For once, I will make an utterly useless post, but one that will express my deepest feelings all the same:

wow, if your dogs motivate you to walk and become your best friends in the process, I guess this makes my cat my worst enemy, considering all he does is sit around, mope and sleep all day when he isn't begging for snacks or food. I feel like his bad habits have rubbed off...

My dogs only want to go on a certain part of the walk I take. They lie around watching me until I go down the driveway. Then they want to go.

Cats are your worst enenmy . I agree, they aren't much interested in organized exercise.

All three of my "personal trainers" are on my right....your left.

The dog loves to go out and walk and run with me in the back yard.

Look at this pic. What part of that face looks like it helps anyone do anything? If he ( Winkie ) wants attention while I am trying to do my walking video. He will hit my keyboard until I can't see the video on the screen anymore.

Your doggies are soooo cute! I love pups (and kitties). My own dog is definitely not an inspiration, or help, in my weight loss: he's a fat pug and when I try to exercise him, we walk about 1/4 a block and he just stops dead in his tracks and won't move.

ShyMoment: your kitty is cute and no, he doesn't look like he/she will help you do anything haha. My cat is the same way: if you try to exercise, like if you lay down to do situps, he will come over and get up on you to stop you. He is such a hater. Any time that we sit at the computer to do something, he jumps up on our lap and prevents activity. I have to move him off my lap when I want to type!

I love my dogs, sometimes they're the only things that get me out for exercise. They both have limitless energy... if we dont' walk them daily things start to go haywire.
