As for my weekend....WHOA!... I had a great time, I really did. But why is it that a good time comes with lots of food and alcohol!? I have proven to myself that I can go out of town and have a good time and not sabotage my diet plan. I know I can do it, I just need to re-prove it to myself. This weekend was awful, we went to a football game and tailgated with some really good friends. We ate and ate and ate, I literally feel sick this morning. It is my T.O.M. so I think that could have something to do with all of the eating, but I can't use that as an excuse, I control what I put in my mouth.
A lot of you know, I have really been struggling with this weekend eating thing. We're going out of town AGAIN this weekend to ANOTHER football game, with MORE tailgating. My goal is to stay on track the entire weekend. I know I can still have a good time, and still eat good food, and even have a couple of drinks, but I don't have to splurge and go completely off the DEEP END! My challenge to myself is to be reasonable this weekend, and think about everything that goes in my mouth! At the end of the week when Friday rolls around and I'm feeling really good and healthy from a good week of healthy eating and exercise, I'm going to remind myself of how crappy I feel today as a result of a weekend full of bad choices. I think I will even come back and read this, so I can be reminded not to repeat it! I will and I CAN do this!!
