Vegan for a Weekend -- it almost rhymes!
I want to share that although it is only Wednesday, I am excited about the upcoming weekend. I will be going on a women's retreat at Yosemite. All meals are being provided and there is a vegan option. There is also a vegetarian option, and I am used to eating vegetarian. I am not used to vegan food preparation. I think I manage to get some dairy product in almost every day. But for this weekend, hey, what could be an easier way to go vegan than to have the food prep be up to someone else! So even though Friday-Sunday is not a long time, I am hoping that in addition to the other parts of this retreat (yoga, meditation, instruction, music), that I will learn something about what I need, and don't need, to eat.
