Progress Report from me to you!

  • Hi to everyone! I started FINALLY my weight loss Program June 12th. I never stopped!!! I started at 285 lbs. On a 5 ft 5 in. small framed body, that is a lot of weight.

    Now, I'm down 41 .5 lbs. I now weigh 243.5 lbs. Still, a lot but much better!

    So... calculating my calories has been pretty easy. My calories range from 1850-2000 calories per day. Just wanted to tell you that I had hoped I would lose weight on this and it turns out that yes, it is happening. I'm averaging a 2 lb. per week weight loss which is very good. It's safe and sane!

    I am hopeful that the rest of this year into next year will bring me down to goal or at least very close to goal. I joined a gym so that should kick in a bit as well.

  • Good job Stacy. It's good to hear of someone losing weight at a calorie range of 1850-2000. Keep up the great work!

  • You are doing it just the right way. Keeping calories low enough to lose weight but not to low. You go to low at first where you going to go later right lol. 1 to 2lbs a week is, what I have been told. The best way to lose weight. Nice and steady, you and your body get use to the difference in the way you are eating and the skin has a nice chance to go back to wear it use to be. Nice going, hope to see more updates from you.
  • Keep up the good work NurseChef. I started at the same weight as you but I'm 5'8 and yes 285 is/was a lot of weight for me too! safe and sane, I like that. I'd like to wish you further success.
