Before my pregnancy with my daughter, I had success with Sugarbusters - 30 lbs of success. However with the pregnancy, I was so hungry. I did not put on excessive weight with the pregnancy, and after delivery, maintained my low weight until we stopped nursing (when DD was 21 months). Then, my weight started creeping back up. New stresses came into our life with my elderly FIL living with us and my parents separation and eventual divorce.
I am choosing today to go back to Sugarbusters and luckily, my DH will cook closely to the plan for dinner for me. Breakfast/snacks/lunch, I will be on my own. Probably the toughest thing to begin changing at first for me is to increase my water.
Exercise for me is also tough. Time is very limited. Since I live in Metro Atlanta, my commute keeps me on the road for 1.5 - 2 hours per day. Weekends are my best opportunity - I like to Geocache, which requires some walking/hiking, Fly fishing, although I am only able to go about 4-5 times a year, and ballroom dancing with my husband on Friday nights.
From this message board I hope to get new ideas about food and exercise.
