hi, i was thinking about...........

  • trying to combine cad with ww. i was on both before. when i am on ww pts. i tend to spend all my pts on carbs, i do lose weight but am often hungry. i know i cant do atkins , to strict for me. when i was on cad befoe i ate way to much at my reward meal.

so i was thinking if i was on ww pts i would have to stick within my pts limit and that would help me control my portions at my reward meal?? what do you think??

i would love any and all opinions . good or bad. i would really appreciate it.

oh i did start going back to ww meetings on jan3 so my first weigh in is on wed night. but i will start posting my weight on thurs morn. i am doing good so far with ww, but like i said i am hungry. and , i know this is no excuse and i have been keeping it under control, but i am pmsing. i am not using that for an excuse anymore.
  • You are spending all your points on carbs? Carbs make me hungry but protein keeps me cool. Eggs for breakfast take me through the morning whereas a bagel has me "starving" by 11 a.m.

To combine WW with CAD you need to trade off carb for protein/fat points. It's hard to do but can be done. WW Week 6 explains this and officially sanctions it. However, I see no reason not to start earlier - just don't argue it with your WW leader or he/she will freak.

How many points are you allowed per day? Post a typical menu and we will critique with suggestions.
  • thanks ruthxxx, i will tell you tomorrow what i decide to eat. and thanks for the advice about my ww meeting, i had no intention of mentioning it to her. i know it wont be easy, but i need to not be hungry. i need to stop the cravings. i am doing good, like i said, but today i was really hungry and grabbed a whole handful of potato chips. i felt out of control. and i have been in control since jan 3, with the exception of some hunger pangs, that i did manage to ignore. i am allowed 22-27 pts on ww a day.
