I don't know if anyone else subscribes to Cooking Light. They have several Sonoma friendly recipes in most of their issues. A couple issues back they had several whole grain salad recipes. I made one and it was great. I plan to try another. This issue, they had a quinoa pilaf with granny smith apple in it. I made that this weekend. Also very good. The apple goes nicely with the qunioa. I don't think I can post the recipes here because they are copyrighted but if you are interested I think you can check out their website.
I think you could post them if you give them credit, no? I see lots of recipes here, and I can't imagine they are all originals. I'm always up for trying something new.
I know some people were concerned about all the food prep a while back... I found some packaged foods that are Sonoma friendly!
In the book, The Sonoma Diet, I believe it said we could eat Amy's Kitchen meals and Far East brand rice. Well, I use Rice a Roni W.G spanish rice and Amy's Bean Burritos! These are SO yummy! Add some broccoli or other veggie and you have a complete meal. I just wanted to share... for those nights you just don't want to cook from scratch, that you can have a healthy option.
I post Cooking Light recipes here all the time. I do note that they come from that source (just to be safe LOL!). Usually I get the recipe from their website--it's a lot easier to just cut and paste.
OK guys, I posted some recipes from the most recent issue for you.
