2 Months Later && She Thinks Well If I Had Put More Effot In

  • It is egsactly 2 months since I left my diet and everything has changed I went on holiday and 3 days before began panicing because of how fat I looked but now I am back and thinking to myself well if I had kept to my diet maybe I would have made out with one of the fittys there I was flirting with.
Well I have his email address and he is going to be there next year so get into shape and work it.
    SO I AM BACK !!!
Now my friend is also big and I think if I ask her she will also come on a diet with me at the moment she goes to gym not far from here so I am wondering weather to join that I have many exersize options and I was wondering what people thought the best one minght be.
    1. Going to a gym with my friend (Walkking or Cycling there too Bout Half A Mile Each Way)
    2. Getting a Davina Macall DVD, Or another recommended Dvd.
    3. Using the tredmill just unfortunatly I get bored using it.

And what ever option you choose how ofter a week I should do each thing.
Please I need opinions on this

  • Ok - I'm in a bad mood so forgive me if I am blunt - you should NOT be planning on dieting or exercising to get in shape to impress or "get" someone - do it for you and the rest will follow. As far as exercise goes - you need to find what you know you can stick with and do it as often as you can - at least 3 -4 days a week I would guess. If the treadmill bores you then mix it up and do something different everyday. The main thing is to get moving - regardless of what it is. This is a very personal thing and if you want to make changes to be fit for the rest of your life you have to find what works for you. I LOVE the treadmill and do it daily for 45 - 60 minutes. I don't like exercise videos - everyone is different.

Good luck renewing your commitment and congrats on restarting !

Edit - just looked at your blog - do NOT weigh yourself everyday - you are just setting yourself up for failure IMO - the scale fluctuates constantly - aim for once a week at the same time (ie: Thursday mornings). Also - it is GREAT to have someone to exercise with but don't make your workouts dependant on it - your friend may not have the same commitment level you have. I have a friend who sometimes goes for a bike ride with me - but more often I do it alone.
