another day another diet? not this time...

  • Hello Girlie girls,

I like probably everyone else am new and thought i should introduce myself

at the ripe old age of 25 next month, yes the defining 1/4 of a century and definately an adult.....

this birthday has spurred me into action. that and the fact that i had reached my heaviest...120kgs....and just thought what am i doing to myself?

so i started the Lighter Life programe 2 weeks ago today and am well on my way to new wardrobe...

so whats different this time from all the other diets i have done? well deprivation is a common factor in all diets, but i guess its the fast weightloss...so hopefully knowing that it will be 8 months max will keep me on track, and the fact that this time i will be addressing the issues that have lead to the excess and abuse of that lovely thing known as food.

yes, i have worked it all out in my own head over the years, i know why i am the way i am.....emotional needs, not enough exercise, never denying myself the taste i crave in any quantity i crave it...etc etc it goes on....

i just don't have anymore excuses.

i can't find a single excuse for why i have not been able to swan about in tight little jeans looking sexy as **** other than because i chose to eat rather than a lot of other options....and i am going to fix that now.
