I have one (well the generic brand) and I was wondering if it was a good thing to use for meats such as chicken breasts. It makes them really dry, but I can still eat them. I think it drains all of the grease off or something. I was thinking of having grilled chicken breasts, fresh green beans, boiled with little salt, and mashed potatoes. Does that sound like it would be okay to eat for supper?
Thanks!
Rachel
I think it sounds great! I cook everything on my George....hotdogs, chicken breasts, steaks, hamburgers. Definately spray it with a little spray though (non stick stuff or just put a little oil on it with a paper towel) because the chicken has a tendency to stick. If you wanted to mix it up try different spices on the chicken. I use McCormicks lemon pepper a lot. Love it! Enjoy your dinner!
It seems like everyone on here eats really healthy, but I just want to eat less food. I eat kinda healthy, but I don't like a lot of veggies. Is it okay to eat a meal like that daily, or do I have to have salad and carrots a lot of the time?
Rachel
I'm definately not the person to ask that. I dislike most veggies....but trust me you aren't alone. There's a whole section on the board devoted to people that don't like veggies. I try to just get them in when I can...I generally eat them for dinner.
I only cook chicken breast in the george foreman.. for reasons such as 1) its the easiest, quickest way and 2) its one of the healthiest ways in my opinion.
