??? re not eating all food??

  • Well im supposed to be on purple with lites...but my counselor a while back told me to eliminate 1 starch and 1 bar and 1 fruit a day and to add a little more protein in ....i cant decide if i should keep doing this or just do exactly what purple plan is ??? any advice??

  • What were the two of you trying to accomplish when she suggested you vary from the plan? Had you stopped losing?

  • I would definitely be following plan. My counselor gets on me whenever I miss food..she said too much of that is going to slow the metabolism down over time. You are on purple for a reason, otherwise they'd move you down.
  • When I was stuck my counselor took away one of my starches (specifically the evening one), and told me to eliminate it all together. After that I started dropping.
  • I'm always leary when they take away a lot of food... Starches I can see, but fruits? I'd give it a whirl and see what happens.. If your losses accellerate, then that was probably a good choice. I think, more than anything, your COD is just trying to jump start your WL again..
