I agree that an exercise program really helped once I was able to. In the midst of the worst of my depression I couldn't get out of my bedroom let alone exercise. It definitely depends on where you are in the cycle. Since my episodes have lifted somewhat and I'm able to get out, you're right I feel much better. I hope that with continued exercise it never comes back with the same vengence.
