I feel FREEEEEEE!

  • There have been a couple of threads lately about bra's and finding the right size. I have been wearing a 38-40D for awhile. The bands have started to get lose and my boobs look like I don't have a bra on even when I do! The center of the bra always gapped away from my valley. After taking some tips from these threads, I went bra shopping today (Wal-Mart cheapie shopping LOL) I wanted to try a 36 DD (Because the advice generally given is to try going up a cup and down a band size). This size ended up being next to IMPOSSIBLE to find, but I finally scavenged together 3 36DD's in 3 different styles. 2 of them looked like the dreaded Granny bra of my nightmares, one was a cotton T-shirt bra (makes you look smooth under t-shirts LOL). Tried them on. OMG! The granny bra's ended up being so comfortable, and looking alot beter on me than I ever imagined. I am so used to stiff padded style bras I never knew I didn't need it. So I bought one granny bra and the T-shirt bra. It actually makes my boobs look smaller LOL, but I am totally fine with that! Sooo if you are having bra issues, I highly suggest going bra shopping. I feel sooo much better..My boobs aren't droopy anymore!!! They sit up!
  • That's awesome! I can't wait to have to go bra shopping.
  • I know exactly how you feel. I was wearing the wrong size for years! There is nothing like having your girls looking good!
  • AWESOME! I actually had a professional fitting at Victoria's Secret recently, which was something I never would have done at 245 pounds! Better bras are a real eye opener, huh?
  • You were a 40D and wearing padded bras? Holy cow, you must have been something. LOL.

I can't imagine having a bra fitting. I'm not all that comfortable with the doctor seing me nekkid, let alone some girl working her way through college working at Victoria Secret. I'll just have to do the best I can for the girls without any professional help. Although the way they're disappearing it might not make much difference pretty soon.
  • Well not PADDED but you know..the really stiff molded cups?
  • I'm afraid the only thing to help mine is going to be surgery.

Which I plan to invest in after I get to goal. My present to myself...
    :P
  • I've never been overtly private about my body, just when I was way big. I even lived in a clothing optional community (read: hippy commune) for a few years and there were naked people everywhere! My BFF and I used to streak around the woods with not a stitch on us at all.
I guess I was just raised that way. Honestly, it was nothing to stand topless in front of the Victoria's chick.
