I'm currently in week 3 of the Extreme fat smash diet. In week 1, I lost 8lbs and 2lbs in week 2. I've lost nothing this week and I'm already on day 5. I do notice a difference in my energy level and I've been walking like crazy so I see muscles in my legs.
Should I go back to cycle 1 to start losing weight again or should I just continue and go into maintaince.
Wow! 8 pounds is great! I lost 4 my first week and about 2 each of the following two weeks and then slowed down even more after that. I did have some injury and illness during part of the diet though so I wasn't exercising as much as I was supposed to.
If you still want to lose more weight, then yes you can go back to cycle 1 and repeat the 3 cycles over again. I didn't ever lose as much in repeating cycle 1 as I did the very first time, which I guess makes sense because the body isn't as shocked by the detox. I've been doing EFS since May and I'm very close to my goal, so that might be why it's coming off so slowly for me. I did find that sometimes I get a better result if I do a week of maintenance after cycle 3 before starting back with cycle 1 and sometimes I even lose weight when I'm not trying to in that week. I think it helps keep my body from thinking that it's starving.

I'm currently on Cycle 3 Day 4 and my plan after this rotation is to do the FS Detox for 9 days then go back to Cycle 1 and do another rotation. Good luck!
arefa- i am in the same situation the first week i lost 8 the 2nd i lost 2 and i just finish the 3rd cycle and didn't lose anything. i don't know what to do, i think i will do phase one again too
I actually took a week off from the book and just continued to eat right and exercise once per day and lost 4 lbs!!!!!
Now, I'm going back to cycle 1 and hope to lose more weight.
