I totally went off my diet tonight. We all went to my BIL's house for his going away to Iraq party and I totally ate like a pig. I really don't like myself. Guess I'm only human and weak. One day won't ruin me though right?

No, one day will not ruin you. You had a bit of a slip and tomorrow is a new day. Start again without any self tormenting. It won't do you any good.

I agree it's important to pick yourself and keep going, but it's probably also a good idea to examine why you gave yourself permission to "eat like a pig" this time. Think about what you heard those inner voices say right before you dove in. What could you have done differently (aside from not overeat)? How will you head off the temptation next time you're in a similar situation? Because there is ALWAYS a next time...

It is really detrimental to beat yourself up. Negative thoughts about yourself will not get you to the goal you want. So, forgive yourself, realize that one you are human, and that one meal isn't going to ruin the progress you have made. Today, you begin again. Maybe, you exercise a little more or you make your daily calories just a little less for the rest of the week to balance the one over-indulgent meal out. Keep your eye on your future and your success and you can do this!!

Nah, you don't suck. It was a party. All is forgiven. So don't feel bad about it. It was just a one time thing, it's not like you make it a habit of going to a party everyday and eating too much.

Can I join the party, yesterday was my worst day in 3 months, I binged on skinny cow ice cream sandwiches( 30 and ate a small dark chocolate bar. I got up today determining today will be a Better day!! I did some exercise for 30 minutes and will not fail .
