So I have been struggling with my weight for so long but until recently there was so many other "things" in the way that realistically losing weight was muddled & in behind the true priorities (ie. major depression, finding a job).
Anyway, now that I can honestly say the weight is the number one priority & goal in my life I am having difficulty with a few very specific barricades that are consistently my derailment. So I am going to get them into the open to help me get past them. Anyone want to join in?
Barricades to success:
1. Being unprepared
Solutions: prepare for the day the night before (I'm not a morning person)
plan meals ahead of time
2. Being overtired
Solutions: make sure I follow my sleep/wake schedule
take naps when needed
take my meds on schedule
3. The house being messy
Solutions: make house cleaning a priority
get dh in on the planning
acknowledge when this is happening & don't allow it to derail me
