As some of you know, I have been a little frustrated the past two weeks with lack of scale movement. FitDay says I am averaging 1550 calories. I have been exercising the last two weeks. Is it just time to lower my calorie intake more, or should I stick it out a couple more weeks? I started off averaging about 1700 calories, and have gradually ended up here at 1550.

If you were plateauing at 1700 calories/day, and over the past two weeks you've gradually decreased to ended up at 1550 cal/day, you've probably totaled around a 1050-1100 calorie deficit over the two weeks (assuming "gradually" means you decreased by around 10 calories per day), not including any increase in "calories out" from increased activity levels. It takes, roughly, a 3500 calorie deficit to lose a pound of fat. So, you're just not there yet.
If you want to see faster progress, you'll need to drop more calories. Not drastically more, but some more. Baby steps, baby progress.
The laws of thermodynamics suck, but they are what they are!

Maybe try to bump it down a little lower and/or bump the exercise up a bit. Maybe vary your workout to give your body a bit of an added challenge.
Keep it up! I have hit a stand-still this week as well. I think for me I need to make sure I am working out everyday.
I never plateaued at 1700, my calories have just inadvertantly dropped to an average of 1550 over the 4 month period I have been counting calories. I burn on average 2000-2400 a day, depending on activity (estimates via fitday at sedentary activity).
Maybe measure yourself, look at old pics, you may be burning fat and the scale is staying the same with muscle?
I agree about the muscle weight. I've not lost much in the last couple of weeks (actually gained a pound last week), but my clothes are getting bigger. I go through this about every 4-6 weeks when I step up my exercise plan another level. Added jogging and biking and kind of stalled out. I just keep on keeping on and eventually the scale starts moving again. 1500 calories is a good number for a lifestyle, I think. Too low and your body fights the plan. Be patient, it will happen. You are doing great!
