1000 Miles!!!!!

  • Today on my treadmill I went to 1003 miles since my husband set it to 0 sometime late in October --can't remember the exact date.
    1000 miles
    153 lbs to 119 lbs
    size 14 pant to size 6 pant.
    1000 miles is about 100 miles further than where I live in Massachusetts to Chicago!!
    YAHOOO!!!
    Here's to the next 1000!!! DV!!
    And I started WL in April and am really beginning to see muscles and definition!!!
    Thank you all on the forum and especially in the Maintenance and Exercise sections for all your support, information and inspiration!!

  • Kiara ... you should post this in the minigoals threads. So many of us need all the encouragement we can get ... NSV's etc. Who'd have thought they could walk 1000 miles!

    Wait, that's not a minigoal ... it's huge ... but you get my drift?

    I used to walk 4 miles a day for 6 days a week, and it is amazing how it all adds up! I sure wish I could continue doing that, but work gets in the way and when the temperature is over 110 in the afternoons and evenings, it rather spoils the temptation for exercise!

    When I posted the new thread this morning no one had responded.
    So thank you all for celebrating with me!!!
    I live in Western Mass and I have walked past Chicago --100 miles past!!!
    I am on to my next 1000!!!!
    Anyone know where in the US I'll be at 2000 miles???
    It's great to be so much lighter, wear size 6 pants and be proudly flexing new muscles from the WL I started last April!!!
    The maintenance section and the exercise section are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES!!!
