I'm starting this thread because I just couldn't wait!

Down 3 to 199!!!! I'm actually there and it's finally official! I didn't ROAR in but more like tiptoed over the line but ask me if I care! hahaha That scale lost it's 2somethingsomethings and I'm so happy I could squeal!

I'm down .2. Yes, there should be a . in front of that 2. It's ok, I've been practicing maintenance (translation: I've been slacking) when I shouldn't be maintaining. But, recommitted this weekend and I hope to see a big loss next week!

I'm down 0.6 lbs this week, but that is better than I thought it would be (see "No excuses/no whining" thread).

I'm up one pound this week but that doesn't surprise me. TOM and I felt pretty crappy, so the exercise was down and the food intake was up. Oh, well, it's Monday and I feel better, so back at it. My goal is three pounds this week.

Good job to all the losers, and Traci, you'll be back down in no time. TOM is a killer.

I said it to you earlier Tricia, but it's worthy of repeating it again - congratulations on a huge, HUGE milestone.

And a hearty congratulations to all the other losers.

I had the worst week I've had in over 10 months. I purposely went higher on my calories, thinking that I could, trying to work maintenance. And then Sunday was the clinker. I simply overate. Too much of the wrong things. And zero exercise. Sat in the car for over 10 hours, went up to visit my daughter on camp visiting day. Whatever. No whining, no complaining, no excuses. So, yup - I'm up a pound. And I wouldn't be surprised if that number goes up more come tomorrow. It usually takes 2 -3 days for me to show a loss or a gain.

But funny enough, I'm kinda looking forward to having to tighten my belt this week so to speak. I think for me I like the "strictness" of having to lose as opposed to maintaining. Although I think I have just learned the hard way, that adding on a couple of extra calories per week (in order to maintain) is no excuse to add on a couple of THOUSAND extra calories. Cause with that kind of "maintenance", I'll be maintaining all the way back to my starting weight.

I really can't believe I have to say that I'm up two pounds (see my uberdepressed thread)

I stayed perfectly on my plan all week without a single lapse.

I am frustrated, but hanging tough.

Ubergirl - It's always tough to post a loss, but I think everyone here will agree that it's the willingness to be accountable and the determination to work at this despite setbacks that's far more important than a loss every week. I know that you'll be posting losses again soon.

I had a three-pound loss this week! I hate reading the magazine headlines that promise a pound a day, but I am quite happy with my loss. I'm ready to start earning another loss for next week!

Congratulations royalsfan! That is such a huge milestone, and a wonderful light in the distance for those of us still a ways away. I hope you're floating on air and that it feels special right up until it feels ordinary because it's simply the new you and the new normal.

Ubergirl - I had a really tough three weeks a few weeks ago. Pretty suddenly I wasn't losing, and then I was gaining, all while being pretty much perfect. I was terribly down. However, in the last three weeks I've had losses of 5.6, 3.0 and 4.2 pounds respectively. In my case, after losing 100 pounds I think my program and my body was just ready for more exercise. If this is just a water weight blip for you or something it will resolve shortly. If it's something else, there *will* be a solution that will help you start losing again.

Robin - Sorry you weren't happy with your week. We all know how to lose weight and we all know how to gain it. Maintenance is something that must be learned by trial and error over time and it must be really hard at first! Be gentle with yourself.

I gained 2.2 pounds this week. I know why, though. I drank several glasses of regular (non diet) coke/pepsi, ate two cheeseburgers for lunch, and went to a wedding (with all the delicious food involved therein) and at said wedding, had beers (which always kill me, weight wise) and rum and cokes, again, non diet coke. But I went to my WW meeting and good thing I did, because I remembered that These Things Happen, and I've been doing very well, and in the grand scheme of things, it will just be another week or two in the way of preventing me from getting to goal. I just have to make sure that those slip ups don't happen too often (this is the first one, I think) or else those weeks will turn into months.

So, ubergirl, I can definitely empathize, though I know why I gained the weight, but just remember that These Things Happen, and just make sure they don't happen too much.

Well I lost 4 pounds this week. I'm really pleased but it was weird. When I did a little pre weigh-in on Saturday I had lost nothing and was pretty bummed about it. Was having a great week and felt a little screwed. And then this morning it was just gone. It's a new weight decade, too, which always perks up my enthusiasm.

Congratulations to everybody for checking in whether you lost or not and to Royalsfan for the huge accomplishment.

Down 3.5 this week -- I've lost 5% of my body weight now. Onederland is in view!!!

After a week back on plan after a couple of months of ****, I am happy to say I am down 4lbs.
