Good Morning and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!
WELCOME Janeane!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great to see another new friend here. Homeschooling too! Wow. We used to have another home schooler out there (Patricia, check in and say hello if you are reading the thread and not posting)- who is also near term carrying her 5th child. Homeschooling is a challenge- what curriculum are you using? (Maybe you can sneak in a quick excercise tape while the boys are doing seat work!) I will fill you in on me later- I am one tired puppy and welll the kids will be up in 6 hours for Christmas morning.

I hope to get to know you better!
Spryng- to answer your question- I am on weight watchers (I bought the program on ebay). What I love about it is that you are given a certain number of "points" per day- and within reason can allocate them however you want. So, for today I had salads for lunch and dinner (with some chicken or ham in each for protein) and a banana for breakfast, but that allowed me to have some cookies and a small piece of candy. So, I think I stayed in my point range, or not too far off of it. I guess the answer to your question is that I plan and try to pick my battles. We were at my inlaws today, and I know that I am not really that fond of MIL's cooking, but also knew that we would be entertaining at home later. So I saved my points for when I wanted them.
Later today I will probably do the same kind of thing, except that I am making a really yummy healthy exchanges dessert that I know is only 4 points a serving and will factor that into my planned eating. Hope that I did not confuse you there!!
As far as the terrible twos- for all 3 of my kids they began at about 16- 18 months and were over by 30 months or so.
But then they became 3!!!!!!!!!

I found 3 a much more challenging age, because as 2 year olds, most children can still be easily directed to another activity or whatever, but as 3, personal will becomes more of an issue and "mind games" kick in (reall thinking!!!). But each is different and you might find 3 easier.
Sounds like you are doing great with your eating.!!!!!!!!

Gotta go get some sleep!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful Christmas.
