... After swim lessons this morning, my daughter asked for a Snickers - she hardly ever eats candy so I said okay. When I got her one, I REALLY REALLY wanted one for my self ... and I thought about it, I hate to admit
... BUT, I resisted and didn't get one for myself. AND, when my daughter only ate half of hers and offered me the rest, I told her "thanks but no"
I actually really surprised myself. The old me would have eaten my Snickers and whatever remained of my daughters. For me, this really shows how great I'm feeling on this eating plan (I'm not calling it a diet anymore because I see it as a very long term plan).
Like I said, not a life changing accomplishment in terms of the World - but, I guess you could say it was a "life changing" accomplishment for me

I just wanted to share because you all are so supportive. Why don't you all share your "proud of myself moments"? I think it would be inspiring to all of us.

. Well, the
with that! I'm pretty proud of how I'm doing on FS, and need a place to let others know about it where they "get it"!
. After going back and forth in my little pea brain, I even went so far as to get in line at the window. The line was pretty long, so it made me think more. Thank goodness the driveway doesn't have curbs, 'cause I took a hard right and got myself right out of that line before I got to the microphone! (I almost heard the screech of tires!
