Hi, I am Debbie, I am addicted to food and am a Born again believer. I struggle daily with this addiction, it is a battle and as I allow the Lord to help me He is showing me things that are frightening. I am looking for fellowship as I journey with God back to my past as He unveils the root cause for my addiction. I want to be free from this addiction, not just survive and battle it. I want it gone and I know the answer lies with Him. I look forward to meeting and sharing.

Hi Debbie! Glad you've found the forum! When I'm down on myself and wanting to eat to make myself feel better I try to remember that I have to keep my body healthy to do God's work. That gives me a greater cause and reason for resisting temptation. It's a hard road!

You guys made me think of something. When we say Grace it goes "bless it to our bodies for Your use" ... I'll bet a bunch of us don't think of it that way???
