Progress on 2000 calories/day

  • I have been following an old exchange Plan called the Freedom Plan by Weight Watchers. I'm following the high end and when I calculate it I end up with about 2030 calories, sometimes 2000 calories/day.

I wanted to check in and say hi but share what has been happening each week. Now, I want you to know what I started out weighing and also, I had regained back 50 lbs. from Oct. up to June 12th. Mom got sick, I had lost 50 lbs. last year. I couldn't stick to Core or Flex Weight Watchers Plan and started a Plan that had worked for me back in the 1990's that if you remember, the Duchess of York was on, Fergie. So here's what happened from June 12th forward...

    week 1 ... -8 lbs.
    week 2 ... -3.5 lbs.
    week 3 ... -4 lbs.

I do eat some white flur foods like baked ziti one day but a half portion which I know from experience how to calculate that and an english muffin here and there. I eat a lot of sweet potatoes and corn during the week and some whole wheat toast. I eat a lot of veggies, salads and fruits. I use regular salad dressings and I use some light butter and some regular. I have a structured Plan I'm following which allows me to eat well but I have chosen to use my 250 calorie list which is part of the 2000 or so calories in real food like popcorn which is 94% fat free but not for any junk foods for now.

I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving Day because I will take that day off as a well-deserved day but will be sensible about it. From then on, I will be looking at 1 day off from Program per month. My birthday is Jan. 22nd. I am so wanting to look at my 49th b'day as the year to get rid of as much weight as possible following a sound, safe and sensible Plan for Stacy.

    Love to all!
