Ugh!!! I just need to vent for a second. A huge part of my plan to lose weight is to exercise more. I had planned to do that by walking. There is a park in my town with a nice walking trail. It's actually a training trail, with the various stations you can stop at and do the different exercises. (Yeah, not ready for that yet, maybe I'll add the stations to my routine later.) Anyway, I live in Oklahoma, where is has rained for the last 20 days! A big part of the walking trail is now under water. As I type this, rain is again pouring down. I know I can still go walk, rain won't melt me. But it's frustrating to think "ok, I'm ready to do this" and then have to deal with the weather. I have a Gazelle machine, but I don't feel like it's as much of a workout as walking is. Guess I'll weigh my options later and decide whether I want to get wet or just go longer on the machine.
(someone remind me of my complain about rain in a couple of months when Oklahoma has again turned to a dry wasteland.)
