eager to start, just gotta commit to a plan!

    So happy to have found this place.

    About Me:
    (middle) Name: Alexis (I'm paranoid.)
    Age: 24
    Location: On the RIGHT coast... (NJ/NY tristate)
    My Deal: I've always been the "sturdy" one of the bunch. Like many, I eat to express emotion (happy, sad, angry, bored, indifferent...). I'd like to finally buckle down and start forming good habits that I can use for the rest of my life. My goals are to be lean, lithe, and finally get to a weight I won't be embarassed putting down on my drivers' license.

    This looks like a fabulous place to find healthy encouragement and support.

    The plan that has worked best for me in the past:
    High protein/low cal (aiming for around 1200)
    Yoga EVERY DAY
    Avoid eating past 8pm
    Lots of water

    Can't wait to start the week off right w. you ladies!

    Funny you mention the drivers license thing...I've been putting 195 on my driver's license forever because I was embarrassed about being over 200 lbs. I am currently 1 pound away from my driver's license weight and now I'm not embarrassed at all! Can't wait until that number goes down on my renewal!!
  • Funny .. cuz mine said I was 115 lbs until I moved to Texas ..
    It was like my HS weight for years.. even after 4 kids because hubby was in military.
    Welcome.. I am new .. or at least back I guess...
