    I didn't want the traditional cake with frosting so I made my own "fruit cake." The kids loved it and I served cool whip free as the "ice cream."

    I also knew it would be fruit, especially after last weeks salad. Woohoo!!! Yay for fruit and a bigger yay for not feeling the need to "treat" yourself to "real" cake on your birthday. Cause you've actually given yourself the biggest treat of all by NOT eating cake.

    It looks absolutely DELICIOUS by the way. Much, MUCH better then any sugar and flour and fat laden cake. That's one piece of "cake" I wouldn't mind eating - and often. Happy Birthday again.
