New workout for me

  • I live in a tri-level home. I just realized today that from bottom to top, there are 31 stairs in my house. I just ran them 3 times. I know that's not a lot, but it's almost 100 stairs...And that's just going UP, not down.

    Wow, what a way to start burning more calories! If I can work up to doing 10trips a day on the stairs, that would be great!
  • Good for you! You know I read somewhere that people who are generally active throughout the day are healthier and burn more cals than people who are sedentary for hours and hours then just go all-out at the gym for a brief spurt. I believe it!
  • Running up and down stairs is a good workout. Next, add leg weights or strap on a weighted backpack. LOL
