If I was your agent, yeah, I'd make sure it all went smoothly! Lauren/future real estate agent ~ question for 'ya... aren't the agents supposed to be more on top of scheduling these things???
I know my agent will be on top of that. I would stay on her. Did you use her for both houses? I would tell her that you absolutely must have access to the new house by 1:00 or something, this way you don't have to worry about wasted money. I'm guessing that probably should've been in the contract or something. When my mom & I moved from our old house to this one, the people that were moving in turned into monsters. Mom considered the fridge went with the house, but the buyers had their own and insisted that we take it. They also insisted that we take the HUGE chest freezer in the basement, along with a couple storage cabinets down there that were there when we moved in!!
It was a horrible experience. They wouldn't even let us leave it at the curb for the garbage men to pick up. We had to give the neighbor lady $100 to give the men that were coming to take it at her curb!Anyway, lesson learned, make sure EVERYTHING is in the contract, or at least in writing before closing.

Have an awesome time and try not to concern yourself with house stuff!
. That's okay because tomorrow I will start fresh. I will not use this as an excuse to eat bad tomorrow as well and say "I will start Monday" like I always do. ***if I write it, I sound more convincing**....but this is what I'm really thinking
He's still got to finish her kitchen, today hopefully. Poor guy.

Gramps used to take us every summer, just to take the ride over and back...not even get off the ferry.
