  • Kara, are you on P1? If so, just breathe (well, maybe do that outside? ) and go for a walk, or chew some gum and give yourself a 'non-food' gift...like a hot bath, go shopping for a small new accessory or piece of clothing, or do a hobby you love but never have time for.

If you're on P2, make some SBD friendly bread of your own! Whenever I bake for others, I always make sure to bake for me, too...that way I'm never tempted. I make SBD-friendly brownies when I make regular ones, SBD cookies for me when making cookies for others, etc. It helps a LOT. I freeze most of them so I'm not tempted to overeat (though it does happen... ).

Good luck! Next time, make him bake at his friend's house!
  • Ooooh, freezing the extras is SUCH a great idea! I have an incredible sweet tooth, so that will help tremendously with the tempation factor!

The bread was actually my idea. It was at the end of this book he was reading and so I had him make a shopping list and go to the store for the ingredients, read the recipe, and make it with me. Didn't lick my fingers once, though! Pretty proud of myself for that.

    Baby is sad.

    Thanks again!

  • No problem, hon! Barb gave me that idea. She's so smart!

Good for you on not licking your fingers!!!
