1200 calories!

  • I didn't think it was possible for me to eat that few calories and still feel full and energized! I am so darned excited I could just....I dunno. If I can keep up this healthy eating I know it will do wonders for me.
  • I suggest you eat lots of vegetables and lower GI fruits. Check out the "volumetrics", "Vegan" and "Whole Foods" areas!

I am no longer eating that few calories (I am bigger than you) but here is what I did eat when I was eating at that level:

  • I just realized (in my dyslexic mind ) what you are actually saying.

Congrats! It is great once you realize that eating well can feel good in so many ways!
  • I know what you mean. Once you get used to not eating much, it's not hard to eat less. I have been probably eating less than 1200 lately because I have been depressed and having some personal issues. I am going to try to get back up to at least 1200 or a little more but i am not truely that hungry. I do eat when I am hungry, but it doesn't take much to fill me up.
  • I'm going out on a limb in the opposite direction here. If eating that little starts getting to you, I'd suggest upping the cals. At your current weight, you are eating the lowest range of cals considered possible to remain healthy. What will you drop to later when you plateau? At your weight, I was eating much more than that.
