About a month ago I finally bought a digital scale. Of course I immediately became obsessed with it - weighing myself several times a day. (It's fascinating how my weight can range from 146-151 over the course of a day!)

Anyway - this morning I get on and it flashes a bunch of times, then displays 185, then 180, then 186 (I gained 40 pounds overnight?!!?), then it dies completely!

I think its just the battery - but talk about a short battery life! Guess I will have to break my habit of scale obsessiveness - I don't have enough money to single-handedly support Duracell!

Think I'll go back to hiding the scale under my bed

Aww.. well maybe by the time you get a new battery, you'll see a big loss!

haha-- digital scales crack me up-- I can weigh myself 5 times in a row and weigh 5 different weights ! I had to start having my DB hide it from me !

oh I actually hate digital scales! Im thinking maybe mine needs a new battery!

Mine doesn't seem to be acting right either and it has a new battery. Does anyone know of some good scales?
