Mom passed on Monday evening. My sister and I were holding her hands as she drew her last breath. Since Mom wanted to be at home, we had to have round the clock care. The hospice nurse was with us and she was singing Amazing Grace, Mom's favorite.

She's no longer in pain.

I am sorry for your loss and yet happy for you and your mom that she is no longer in pain. What an incredible hospice nurse it seems you had!

So sorry for your loss -- I'm sure it meant a lot to her to be at home and with her girls. Take care and I hope you find comfort in the memories you have of her.

I'm sorry for your loss... but how wonderful for your mom to have had you two there as she said goodbye to this world. To pass on, being surrounded by your loved ones... to me, that's what makes life worthwhile.
