Weird question about purplish, crazyish veins

  • I wasn't sure if this was the place to post, so please excuse me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, I've lost some weight in the last few months and I still have these curly, swirly veins from my arms, legs, breasts and I'm sure more places than I care to see. Anyway, I'm 24 and a F and quite fair-skinned. And losing weight hasn't lightened them. I wouldn't say they're vericous [sp?] but maybe . . some are just little purplish-redish flecks.

Does anyone know what they could be, how to treat them or cover them fairly well?

    LB. / Kate.
  • I don't know of any home remedies that will get rid of them, but I believe a dermatologist can do it, using saline injections or a laser. Google sclerotherapy to find out more.
  • ahh the wonderful world of "Spider veins". there is no "proven" home remedy...you can go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon..they have several different procedures to get rid of them.
  • They sound like spider veins to me.
