Chubby Grandma

  • I am 64 and a yo yo dieter. I know lots about food and eating programs. I just don't seem to get the maintainence part - sound familiar?

I enjoy internet friendships and since I am working on still another weight loss effort, I thought this would be a good place to come and play.
  • Congratulations on the 17 pounds you have already lost.
  • Welcome to 3fc, i am sure that you will find the support and encouragement on your weight loss journey. Congratulations on the weight you have lost so far that is an achievement to be proud of.

  • Hi Gail . . .

You will love it here . . . I know I do and we are the same age. You are doing great . . . keep up the good work, chickie and I'll be looking forward to seeing you around the boards pretty regularly now that you've found us.

Hope you have a great moving and shaking kind of evening . . .
  • Thanks for the welcome, ladies.

Meowee, not only are we the same age, we are exactly the same height. We are just a teensy bit fluffy, eh?
  • Hi Gail, I'm A Slightly Overweight (ok, Chubby) Grandma Too. I've Read All The Books, Tried All The Diets, As Crazy As Some Of Them Were. I Lost The Weight, Regained The Weight. I Have A Closet Full Of Beautiful Clothes That Are Doing Me No Good At All Because I Can't Fit Into Them. And I Refuse To Buy A Bigger Size. I Guess I'm Afraid If I Do There Will Be No End. I'm Not Sure Why I Do This. Sure, I Love Food, But Doesn't Everyone? No Self Controle? I'm Working On It Still, But When Do We Get This Right?

Looking Forward To Talking To You
